A New Way of Seeing

This poem comic is composed of a twelve-panel grid that alternatively begins "I used to believe/but now I know."

Newspaper Blackout Poem

I created this blackout poem using an issue of the Rensselaer Poly. It's a little difficult to see the wording on the scanned version, but it says:

I believe
I have love.
Do we wish
this?
I don't know.

The Dream

For this assignment I created a frame to precede this plate by Frans Masereel. My frame was intended to be in a similar style and expand on the original story.

I found this assignment particularly difficult since not only did I have to draw (which I don't have much practice in), I had to draw in another artist's style.
